... because the stage was set for a pathological narcissistic "man-child"

I thought I was caught in a surreal nightmare when I saw the spoiled "child" on the podium. Not only that as an adult and pretty well educated person things like "ISIS ... No. 1 tricky" make me cringe, especially when coming from a president-elect, but Mr. Trump might not only use this language, because he aims to reach even the lowest IQ and the last Baby in front of the TV screens, but because he simply speaks his mind! (I dont know which is worse) The reporters in the room, thus, wrestled several times with his kindergarden talk.
Donald Trump had not appeared that day to answer questions from the press. No, he needed to get his wounded ego fixed. Like any narcissist, he needs constant attention. Drawing on his vast experience in that specific area (other fields are fare less known to him, for example how to be presidential), he knows, you first have to satisfy the claquers placed strategically in the room, so that their applause may serve as the bugle call for the frontal attack on the "FAKE NEWS media" (when saying such, of course, Donald always refers to the serious and professional press, especially when they don't agree with him). Quite extraordinary, really, to accuse the seasoned journalists in the room to produce fake news. But, that's Donald Trump for you! He simply and very conviently always forgets when making such outrageous statements, that it was he, who practically invented fake news.
Just as a reminder: for almost 8 years, he ran a "fake news" media campaign against President Obama with his "birther movement", not to speak of the fact that he has made an open racist and producer of many such fake news to one of his most important advisors. Do I need to mention "Breitbart Ne..."? I think, you all know who is meant here. Trump counts on the fact that people's memories are short, and that the constant repetition of a lie, eventually makes it into a fact for most people too lazy to bother to check facts. That's the success story and propaganda he ran on and won!
But, I don't want to elaborate further on this press conference nor on the strange and erratic behavior of an egomaniac, who is obviously overtaxed with reality. Just look at the photos and think of whom or what his gestures remind you.
Only one thing should be clear to us: in a few days, this man, whose state of mind has been taken into doubt meanwhile by some renowned psychologists in the United States as well, will become one of the most powerful men in the world. So it DOES matter how he will act or what he will say as future Pesident of the U.S.A., because even the wide Atlantic will not protect us from the "fall-out" Donald Trump's megalomania will without doubt produce.
