A shakespearean sonnet I wrote, in honour of the great master of words. It is recited by another master, one of great voice... my dear friend, the actor Philip Hurd-Wood.
A story of two lovers who are faced with many complications in their lives and waste almost as many years before finally realising their feelings for each other ... Inspite of Cupid's galant efforts, when he had shot his love arrow at them, long ago.
The perpetual back and forth of these two love candidates, which he had intended for one another, frustrates Cupid immensely. He sees his reputation as master of romance and as the messenger of love at stake. And so, he decides to make one final attempt to see his, at the time, so well conceived plan finally succeed.
This love story helped on its way by Cupid is set in beautiful Tuscany, Italy.
